In memory of the lives lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and in support of Orange Ribbons for Jaime, Kaniuk Law will be donating 10% of fees for new clients and new matters between February 14 and March 14.
Ron Kaniuk, Founder & Managing Partner of Kaniuk Law, says, “For one month, we will be donating legal fees to honor and remember Jamie and the other victims of this horrible tragedy. Their lives were needlessly taken way too early and this is this least we can do.”
On February 14th, 2018 Jaime Guttenberg, along with 16 other victims, was tragically murdered by a troubled former student at her high school in Parkland, FL. She was only 14 years old. Following the tragedy, the Guttenberg family formed Orange Ribbons for Jaime to honor their daughter by supporting causes important to her in life, but also causes that deal with the way her life was tragically cut short.
